rq-sssp-client, sssp client by raton_craquero.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2009-08-21 v1.00
- First public release. rq-sssp-client is a multi-platform client that enables
SSSP capable receivers (such as some CaptiveWorks models) to be used as a
softcam or card sharing client. To work, it requires a standard null-modem
cable connected from a SSSP capable receiver to a supported platform device.
- The supported platforms are:
- Windows PC, Linux PC (x86)
- Dreambox (all models, PPC & MIPS)
- Triple Dragon
- DGStation Boxes (Relook, Mutant, CubeCafe) and
- ST40 Boxes (Kathrein UFS 910/IPBOX 9000HD)
- WRT54G Linux routers and compatibles (BCM947XX)
- Can connect to softcam or card sharing servers. Only the Newcamd protocol is
supported.
- Support for multiple CaID's. When server url's for different providers are
added, the client automatically traverses the list until it finds a suitable
url for the request.
- Review rq-sssp-client.conf for additional configuration options.
- File descriptions:
- rq-sssp-client-readme.txt - This file.
- rq-sssp-client.ppc - Binary for PowerPC boxes (Dreambox DM500, DM600,
DM7000, DM7020, Triple Dragon and DGStation boxes).
- rq-sssp-client.mips - Binary for MIPS boxes (Dreambox DM800HD and DM8000HD).
- rq-sssp-client.st40 - Binary for ST40 boxes (Kathrein UFS 910/IPBOX 9000HD).
- rq-sssp-client.x86 - Binary for Linux i386 PC's.
- rq-sssp-client.exe - Binary for Windows (WIN32).
- rq-sssp-client.bcm947xx - Binary for WRT54G and compatible linux routers.
- rq-sssp-client.conf - Configuration file. All versions.
- Only CaptiveWorks receivers have been tested on this release. There are other
SSSP capable receivers that may work. Try it and report your results.
- For detailed instructions on how to setup and use, visit rq-sssp-client's
homepage.
2009-10-06 v1.01
- Added a configuration option to define CaIDs mappings. This solves
problems with providers that use multiple CaIDs and produce server CaID
mismatches. Review the configuration file for further details.
NOTE: If you're not having CaID mismatch issues, it is not necessary to
upgrade to this version.
2009-12-15 v1.02
- Added support for a proprietary SSSP protocol to be used with the modified
RQ Coolsat firmwares. Only Coolsat 4000 is supported right now (firmware is
included in this release), 5000 and 6000 coming soon.
- IMPORTANT: Do not use byte_write_delay=0. Be sure to use the configuration
file default of 200us, otherwise you might get unreliable communication on
Coolsat receivers.
- Added support for the Gbox SSSP protocol variant. Allows support for Digiwave
(with Satywave firmware), Technomate and many other brands of EU receivers. As
of this release, the protocol is implemented but UNTESTED. Please try it and
report your results.
- Added an option for returning either the even or odd control word for each
ECM. This is intended as a fix for freezing on some receivers when using NDS
providers. Review the configuration file for details.
- Modified start-up behavior so that if failure to connect occurs, the client
starts anyway so it can attempt to connect later on.
- Increased CW timeout to 14 seconds.
- Added the ECM response time in milliseconds to the console logs.
2009-12-18 v1.03
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Gbox SSSP protocol from working. Tested and
working now on a Digiwave with proper EU firmware. Please report results on other
Gbox SSSP compatible EU receivers.
- Added additional values to the "return_single_cw" parameter. Check the
configuration file comments for details.
- Added working RQ Coolsat 5000 and Coolsat 6000 firmware to this release.
2010-04-08 v1.04
- Added a new configuration parameter to set the timeout for receiving control
words from server (control_words_timeout). Check rq-sssp-client.conf for
details.
- Added a port for OpenWRT routers that use the Atheros chipset
(rq-sssp-client.openwrt-ar231x).
- Added a port to ARM EABI architecture (rq-sssp-client.plug). This port runs on
Plug Computers (plugcomputer.org), such as the SheevaPlug.
- Added a port to the BeagleBoard (rq-sssp-client.beagle). Check out beagleboard.org
It is untested as of this release, please test and report your results.
- NOTE: The OpenWRT Broadcom binary has been renamed to rq-sssp-client.openwrt-bcm947xx
- NOTE: Starting from this release, I won't be including the libstdc++.so.6
file (needed for the router binaries). I suggest you install the Standard C++
Runtime Library using the package management system of OpenWRT, as this is the best
way. There's a way to do it through its web interface or command-line. Look into it.
Enjoy!
